4/20 Event Recap

Posted May 20, 2021

Now that the smoke has finally settled over 4/20, we can look back and relive our favorite moments from our first-ever Glass House Fest: a 4/20 celebration of cannabis and music.

We came together with our friends at Jam in the Van to deliver a weed-friendly in-person and virtual event with live music, stand-up performances, and our virtual farm experience. Whether you were able to pull up to the event on 4/20 in Los Angeles, tuned in from the comfort of your home, or just want to catch up on what you missed, take a look at this recap of all the action.

Socially Distanced Success

Over this past year (and some change) we’ve missed all of your smiling faces—so we decided to do an in-person 4/20 party with a focus on your safety. Following all CDC guidelines, attendees were assigned a socially distanced seat to take in live performances by Flying Lotus, Duckwrth, Blackillac, and a stand-up performance from Mike E. Winfield!

Live Stream

We live streamed the entire show for free via Youtube and Twitch. Our virtual guests were able to enjoy the sights and sounds while chilling on the couch at home. Now that’s how you throw a proper 4/20 party.

Virtual Farm Experience

As a treat for both in-person and online guests, we also launched our virtual farm experience that can be viewed straight from our website. After many months of collaboration with our creative partners at Seven Hundred (a visualization agency), you can digitally enjoy our farm from the comfort of your home.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology to produce an original interactive web experience we’ve integrated 360-degree photography, 3D content, and virtual web applications to give you an inside look at one of our Santa Barbara greenhouses. You can also get an up-close and personal view of three of our most beloved strains, Hellfire, Ice Cream Cake, and Cherry AK, to fall even more in love with them. For the grand finale, our virtual tour ends with an immersive audiovisual environment to give you a feel for what the real deal might look and sound like.

Sound interesting? You can check this tour out right now.
