Grower Spotlight:
Tiffany Garcia de Alba
August 31st, 2023
For Tiffany, cannabis cultivation isn’t just a job—it’s a lifelong passion.
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (818), Tiffany’s journey in cannabis has been fueled by an obsession with the plant and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
“I’ve been growing weed for the past 11, coming up on 12 years, which means I’ve pretty much dedicated my entire adult life to this plant,” she says.
But her journey didn’t start in a grow room; like many seasoned cultivators, she began as a trimmer. Within just six months, her curiosity and drive propelled her into cultivation, and from there, she became “full-blown obsessed.”
A commitment to quality & clean cultivation
Tiffany holds herself to an incredibly high standard, not just as a grower but as a consumer. “I’m really picky with the weed that I consume, so I really take pride in providing a clean product at top quality for the rest of our consumers,” she explains.
This dedication to purity and excellence drives every decision she makes at Glass House. From selecting genetics to refining cultivation techniques, Tiffany ensures that only the best flower makes it to the shelves.
Finding the right strains & genetics
“The most important part of being a grower is being able to see what strains, what genetics work for your facility with the tools that you’re able to operate,” Tiffany says. With every strain being unique, understanding how each one responds is key to producing consistent, high-quality cannabis.
One strain that has earned her stamp of approval?
Glass House’s GG4 (Gorilla Glue #4)—a legendary cultivar known for its sticky resin, pungent aroma, and potent effects.
Fueled by passion
For Tiffany, growing cannabis isn’t just a career—it’s an “itch that I can’t stop scratching.” Her relentless pursuit of perfection and deep love for the plant continue to shape the success of Glass House Farms.
